Mrs. Hunter G. Jones
Dr. Jones is an assistant professor in the Department of Clothing, Textiles and Interior Design in the College of Human Environmental Sciences at The University of Alabama. Her instructional focus is on textile design, textile science, visual merchandising, and fashion retailing. Her methods of instruction are diverse and include a traditional on campus presence as well as a hybrid digital/traditional presence, and a purely digital presence. She received her doctorate in 2019 in Instructional Technology with a focus on faculty use of technology in online learning. Dr. Jones has been a leader in classroom for over 10 years and is active on campus outside the classroom serving in various capacities for the college.
Dr. Jones holds a BS in Apparel and Textile design, MS in Human Environmental Sciences, and PhD in Instructional Leadership, Policy, and Technology Studies.
